Milky Way in decline, Pitt team declares

First the good news: A team of astronomers from the University of Pittsburgh has determined that the color of the Milky Way galaxy is, indeed, white.
Really white.
Now the bad news: The Milky Way is slowing down in giving birth to new stars.
