Total Eclipse of the Moon. All of eclipse visible in Alaska, Yukon
Territory, much of Canadian Northwest Territories, Australia, and most
of Asia. Part of eclipse visible in other parts of North America
(eclipse in progress as Moon sets, with people in the west seeing more
of the eclipse), Europe , other parts of
Asia, and most of Africa except extreme western sections (early portions
of the eclipse occur before moonrise).

Lunar Eclipse, is completely safe to observe with the naked-eye or any optical device.
