William W. Millar will present a futuristic look at the role of transportation in building sustainable regions. Mr. Millar retired in 2012 after 15 years at the helm of the American Public Transportation Association. For 13 years of his 40-year career, he was CEO of the Port Authority of Allegheny County. Millar is also past chair of the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies.
This lecture is sponsored by the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law and Public Policy and the University Honors College in conjunction with the Center for Metropolitan Studies at Pitt’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
This event is free and open to the public.
